Biden will be sworn in on January 20, 2021. As he’s begun to lay out his plans for his first days in office and picked the members of his cabinet, he has exhibited complete disregard for the Progressive organizers that guaranteed his victory. We will accept neither his lukewarm commitment to climate action and refusal to condemn fracking nor his rejection of Medicare for All. We will continue to organize and make sure his first months in office are #NoHoneymoon!

Since November, we’ve been pushing Joe Biden on six issues that we know are necessary for building an equitable and progressive country that is safe for all who call it home.  We are demanding:

  1. A $15 minimum wage for all workers in the US.
  2. Universal healthcare for all.
  3. Real and aggressive climate action.
  4. True racial justice.
  5. No more wars, and an end to all that are ongoing.
  6. The absolution of ALL student debt.
